Our Correspondent gathered that this decision is also hinged on result of the report submitted by the party screening committee headed by Barr. Abeeb Ajayi.
Speaking with journalists during the exercise, the Organising Secretary for the ruling party in the state, Mr Yemi Adelani said that the exercise was done in compliance with the decision reached with the governor who had directed that the party should try to adopt a consensus candidate and where that fails, the list of the aspirants should be pruned to two or three.
