Leadership of Labour Party in Ogun State has disowned the purported adoption of Ogun governorship candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC) Prince Gboyega Isiaka for March 2019 governorship elections

According to them, the adoption was spearheaded by some irresponsible impostors and scavengers who would soon be drag to court to pay for their sins.

The State Chairman of the party, Comrade Arabambi Abayomi has equally faulted the ADC governorship candidate for accepting the infamous adoption, expressing that that the former GMD of Gateway Holdings was only behaving as someone desperate to rule the state not minding even if the state was set on fire.

Arabambi stated this during press conference held in Abeokuta on Tuesday.

The Chairman explained that the reported adoption of the ADC governorship candidate as organised by one Oginni and Owolabi on behalf of Labour Party was arrant nonsense, unconstitutional and illegal as they are strangers and  not known to the national leadership of the party.

While saying that the party had directed its lawyers to commence legal actions against the ADC governorship candidate and those behind the fake adoption, Arabambi stated that the governorship candidate of Labour Party remains Ms Modupeola Sanyaolu who is committed to taking Ogun State to greater height.

The National Legal Adviser of the party, Barr. Samuel Akingbade while speaking during the press conference explained that the individuals identified as the brains behind the controversial adoption had on two occasions lost the suits instituted against the party at Federal High Court, Abeokuta.

Akingbade said that whatever these people might have done stood null and void and without the knowledge and support of national leadership of Labour Party.

Meanwhile, the ADC governorship candidate, Prince Gboyega Isiaka has described Comrade Arabambi as a political merchant and blackmailer who is not worth being dignified with a reply when he speaks saying that his antecedents make him deserves the pity of all.

Speaking through his Media aide, Bolaji Adeniji, Prince Gboyega Isiaka disclosed that whatever Arabambi said should be taking with pinch of salt because of his sense of devotion to ripping off politicians saying that “Within the space of months, his faction of the Labour Party had openly fraternized and scooped off pecuniary benefits from GNI, Ladi Adebutu and most recently, Ibikunle Amosun.  As a campaign organisation, we shall not dignify him with any official response because it is not worth it”.

Isiaka stated further that “joining issues with the purported Labour Party Chairman, Arabambi Abayomi will definitely amount to descending from the height of nobility into the mud just to wrestle a swine. We are focused on our campaigns and not distracted by political merchant and professional blackmailers like him”.
