Ogun Govt tackles Osodi over ‘baseless’ allegations against Abiodun

The Ogun State Government has lambasted Abisoye Osodi, a self-acclaimed political activist, over his against the Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.

In a statement released by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, Hon. Kayode Akinmade, the government described Osodi as a “corrupt individual” and a “professional blackmailer” who is being used by desperate politicians to push their negative agenda.

“Abisoye Osodi is a corrupt individual, a professional blackmailer who is being used by desperate politicians to push their negative agenda.

“Osodi has been consistently throwing up stupendous figures and making bizarre claims against the Governor, which have been completely unsubstantiated. He habitually lies shamelessly and with Luciferic consistency, which is a clear indication of his corrupt and immoral nature,” said Special Adviser on Media and Strategy to the Governor, Hon. Kayode Akinmade.

The government also alleged that Osodi is a “professional blackmailer” who has been “serially blackmailing” politicians over the years, and that his “dossier of crimes” has led to a “manhunt” by security agencies.

Reacting to Osodi’s claims that Governor Abiodun bribed an electoral officer with $1 million, the government stated that “RECs do not announce election results,” and that Osodi’s allegations are “dead on arrival.”

“We urge the public to disregard his tantrums,” said Akinmade.

The government also dared Osodi to publish the pictures of the cars and private jets that he accused Governor Abiodun of “keeping for Amosun,” describing him as a “charlatan” who “cannot even lie with some common sense.”

“Osodi’s plot to dress the Governor in borrowed robes is dead on arrival,” Akinmade added.
