Ogun: Father turns 14-yr-old daughter to sex worker, impregnates her

A 49-year-old man, Amoda Bola of Idi Oro, Ode Remo in Remo North local government has been arrested by men of Ogun state police command for turning her 14-year-old daughter (name withheld) to sex worker and subsequently impregnating her.

Bola, arrested on the 17th of Aug 2022 and alleged to have been sleeping with her daughter for some years, was also said to be in the habit of inviting men to sleep with her daughter while he collect money from such men.

According to a statement from the Spokesman of the state police command, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, Amoda was arrested after his daughter reported his alleged incestuous act at Ode Remo.

She was said to have also reported how her father had also been inviting men to the house to have sex with her after which the men will pay her father money.

Receiving the report, the DPO Ode Remo division, CSP Olayemi Fasogbon was said to have detailed his detectives to the scene where the Randy father was promptly arrested.

The police stated that on interrogation, Amoda who first denied the allegations later confessed when his daughter confronted him. His confession was said to have led to the arrest of five others who have slept with the victim at different times on the invitation of the father.

Those who were said to have slept with the victim are Ahmed Ogunkoya 30yrs, Muyiwa Adeoye 48yrs, David Sunday Solaja 69yrs, Emmanuel Olusanya 50yrs and Joshua Olaniran 50yrs.

All the suspects were alleged to have confessed having carnal knowledge of the 14 years old girl and paid money to her father.

The police said the victim, whose mother had separated from her father years back and had been living with her father was practically turned to a prostitute by her father.

She was said to have been taken to state hospital Isara Remo where it was confirmed that she is pregnant.

The 14-year-old girl was also said to have insisted that it was her father who is responsible for the pregnancy being the only person who slept with her within the period she got pregnant.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Bankole has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspects to anti humans trafficking and child labour unit of the state Criminal Investigation Department for discreet investigation and possible prosecution.
