Ogun Commissioner tasks members on strengthening party, revalidates membership
A call has gone to All Progressive Congress, (APC), to party members and stalwarts to come out enmasse for registeration and revalidation of their membership as the exercise is designed to further strengthen the party system.
Tpl Tunji Odunlami, Commissioner for Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development made this call on Thursday shortly after his revalidation of his membership of the All Progressives Congress, APC, was carried out at Ward 10, Isiwo Ijebu, Ijebu-Ode local Government in Ogun State.
While commending the Ward Party Chairman, Hon. Sunday Adesanya for a well coordinated exercise, Odunlami said the present administration under the leadership of Prince Dapo Abiodun was doing well in terms of infrastructural development and empowerment programme in the district.
Saying that voting APC will increase dividends of democracy in the state and Nigeria as a whole.
“We have empowerment going on in Ogun State particularly in the district area everybody is a with ness to the on going upgrade and dualization of Mojoda- Benin express way road and recently 500KVA transformer was brought and installed which had improved the power supply,” he said.
Odunlami said the revalidation of members and registration of new members was to ensure that the party had an effective register that would boost the party’s status globally advising party members to invite other non followers in the state to register and revalidate their membership.
It would be recalled that the membership registration and revalidation exercise of the ruling APC in Ogun State was recently flagged off by the Vice President at his country home in Ward 1, Unit 3, Egunrege in Ikenne, Ikenne Local Government.
