Ogun central ADC senatorial candidate defects to PDP, declares support for Atiku, Adebutu

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for Ogun central senatorial district, Hon Ibukunolu Ogunjobi has announced his defection to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)

Hon Ibukunolu Ogunjobi while addressing journalists alongside Chairmen of ADC in Ado-Odo/Ota local government, Abeokuta North and Ijebu North local governments disclosed that he and several members of the party have decided to throw their weight behind the presidential asipiration of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the gubernatorial ambition of Hon Ladipupo Adebutu as well as other candidates of the PDP in the forthcoming elections.

Ogunjobi revealed that some people from the All Progressives Congress (APC) have hijacked their party imposing other people on them and that it was against this undemocratic moves that they have decided to part ways with their former party, ADC.

He explained that they had since come to terms with the fact that PDP remain the only winning team and that they have joined the opposition party to work for the victory of all its candidates in the coming elections.

Ogunjobi said that having forgone his Ogun Central senatorial ambition, he and his supporters will mobilise for Chief Olumide Aderinokun, the PDP candidate for the senatorial district as well other candidates of the party in the general elections.
