Odu’a investment company limited inaugurates Lagos liaison office

Odu’a Investment Company Limited (OICL) has officially inaugurated its Lagos Liaison Office today, 31st July, 2024, a key development aimed at expanding its operations and influence.

The opening ceremony took place at the Western House on Broad Street, Lagos.

This new office represents a significant step forward for OICL, underscoring the company’s dedication to growth and excellence amid a dynamic business environment. The liaison office is set to become a central hub for market intelligence, research, and collaboration. It will play a crucial role in enhancing the company’s engagement with potential business partners, clients, and shareholders.

The Group Managing Director/CEO, Mr. Abdulrahman Yinusa, in his welcome address,highlighted the role of the new facility, stating that the liaison office is positioned to facilitate cross-border interactions and foster international relationships. A strategic alignment aimed to expand OICL’s frontiers and strengthen its market presence.

He said, “We are commissioning today a tastefully well-furnished offices and board room that will act as an information hub centre for gathering market intelligence, conducting research and facilitating collaboration between OICL and potential business partners, clients or shareholders.

“Because of this multi-faceted role, we have – South West Agribusiness Company (SWAgCo) and South West Innovation and Tech Company (SWIT) as neighboring offices in facilitating cross-border interactions, fostering international relationship and expanding the frontier of OICL.

“The new OICL Lagos liaison office has been well structured for comfortability and ease of operation for better proficiency.”

He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the attendees, highlighting the significance of their presence as a testament to the unity and strength of OICL’s vision for the future acknowledging the pivotal roles played by the board members, directors, and the management team, whose support and dedication were instrumental in realizing the new office.

“This new chapter in our journey, marked by the opening of the OICL Lagos Liaison Office, is a testament to our resilience, innovation, and unwavering commitment to excellence,” said Yinusa.

In his keynote address, the Group Chairman of OICL, Otunba Bimbo Ashiru emphasized the role of the liaison office as a communication bridge between OICL and the investing community, describing it as a critical step in expanding the company’s footprint and enhancing its engagement with the global business landscape. He expressed optimism that the new office would bolster the company’s efforts to become a world-class conglomerate.”
