Obi, Dangote, others condole Gov Namadi over death of mother, son

The Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi, has received an outpouring of condolences from prominent Nigerians, including the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and business magnate, Aliko Dangote, following the tragic loss of his mother, Hajiya Maryam Umar Namadi, and son, Abubakar Umar Namadi.
The duo, who visited the governor at the Government House in Dutse, expressed their deepest sympathies and support during this difficult time.
Obi, who spoke on behalf of his family and the Labour Party, said, “I am here to condole the governor, his family, and the entire people of Jigawa State over this irreparable loss.”
Dangote, who was represented by Alhaji Baffa Aliyu Misau, described the loss as irreparable and one that could never be replaced.
Other dignitaries, including Hon. Alasan Ado Doguwa, member representing Doguwa/Tudun Wada Federal Constituency of Kano State, and the representative of Isa Emirate Council, also paid their respects to the governor.
Doguwa, speaking on behalf of northern House of Representatives members, praised Governor Namadi’s endurance during this difficult time and prayed for Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest.
In response, Governor Namadi appreciated the visit and condolences, stating, “Every soul must experience the bitterness of death, and no one can exceed their allocated time in this world.”
He prayed for the souls of his mother and son to rest in eternal peace and be granted Jannah.
