NYSC gets new coordinator in Osun
The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Brigadier-General Yushau Dogara Ahmed has approved the appointment of Agbor Ndoma Obim as the 15th State Coordinator for the NYSC in Osun State.
Ndoma is taking over the mantle of leadership from Olayinka Abdulwahab, who has been transferred to Niger State as Coordinator.
According a statement obtained by news, before his appointment, Ndoma was State Coordinator, NYSC Kaduna State.
“Ndoma hails from Ikom- town, in Ikom Local Government area of Cross Rivers State. He attended Rokuku Primary School in Ikom-town, and Government Secondary School Ikom (Govisco) for his secondary school education.
“He has a Bsc in Political Science from the Cross River State University, Uyo, now University of Uyo and an Msc in Public Administration from the University of Calabar, Calabar.
“He did his one year mandatory service to the nation between 1991- 1992 in Jos North, Plateau State, after which he proceeded to join the services of the Cross River State Post Primary Schools Management Board as Tutor II.
“Mr Ndoma joined the workforce of the National Youth Service Corps in 1998, as Administrative officer 1. He has served in different capacities and formations of the Scheme. He has worked in Lagos, Borno, Enugu and Kaduna State where he was State Coordinator before his transfer to Osun State on Wednesday 12th April, 2023,” it said.
The official handing over took place on Friday April 14, 2023, at the NYSC Secretariat in Osogbo.
