Plateau United defender Christopher Nwaeze has sealed a move to Ukrainian side, Zorya Luhansk, NEWSMEN reports.
He joined tye club for an undisclosed fee.
Zorya Luhansk announced the signing of the former U-20, U-23 defender on their official X handle.
“Nigerian central defender Christopher Nwaeze became the next rookie of Luhansk Zorya in the winter of 2024,” the club stated.
“Christopher played exclusively for Nigerian clubs: Akwa United (14 matches), Kwara United (63 matches, 7 goals) and Plateau United (25 matches, 3 goals and 1 assist).
“It was for Plateau United that he played in the African Champions League and the Confederations Cup. At one time, he was called up to the U-20 and U-23 teams of Nigeria.
“We are happy to congratulate Christopher on his move to Zorya and wish him bright matches for the “black and whites”.
