NPFL:  Finidi has confirmed that rivers united will be  well prepared for their match against shooting stars

Rivers United technical adviser, Finidi George, has revealed that his team will adopt the right tactics for their next game against Shooting Stars.

Finidi said that the players require a proper rest following their long trip to Katsina.

He added that the coaching crew will ensure the players are ready for the encounter.

Rivers United will square up with Shooting Stars in a midweek fixture at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt on Thursday.

“We’ll plan carefully to ensure the boys recover properly after the two-day journey,” Finidi told Rivers United’s media.

“It’s not easy been on the road, but we’ll get them ready for Shooting Stars.”

Newsmen recalls that Nyima Nwagua lone strike gave Rivers United a 1-0 win over Shooting Stars in the same fixture last season.
