NPC decorates Benue NUJ Chairman as Commission’s Media Ambasador

The Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Benue State Council, Comrade Vincent Nyinongu has been decorated as the Media Ambasador of the National Population Commission (NPC).

Barrister Patricia Kupchi, the Federal Commissioner of NPC in the state performed the decoration in Makurdi, the capital of Benue State during a State Level Capacity Building Workshop on Effective Reporting of the 2023 Population and Housing Census organized by the Commission in Makurdi.

He urged the chairman to represent the commission in good light everywhere he goes and ensure the message of the commission is taken to the people in order to present themselves for counting.

Responding to the decoration, NUJ Chairman, Comrade Vincent Nyinongu appreciated the Honourable Commissioner for the honour done to him and for her effort in organizing a workshop to brush the media on the techniques and terminologies used by the commission to enhance quality reporting of the activities of the commission in the state.
