The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Monday received the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) team saddled with the development and implementation of the Port Community System (PCS) at Nigerian ports.
In a tweet on its official Twitter handle, the NPA stated that the PCS is a technological tool that will help manage data exchange and drive automation at the nations port.
According to the Authority, “The International Maritime Organisation @IMOHQ is working with the Authority to develop a Port Community System (PCS) for data exchange for its Port complexes.
“Today, the Management Team, led by the Executive Director Finance & Administration, Ms. Adenrele Adesina, received the in-country IMO Consultants to discuss the Phase II implementation of the Port Community System.”
