Not less than 2500 APC members defect to PDP in Ogbosomo

… Declares Support for Gov Makinde

Sequel to the previous report that 4000 members of All progressive congress deflected to the People Democratic Party ahead of the 2023 Election in Oyo state, another 2000 members of Rival Party, All Progressive Party (APC) and other political parties denounced their membership to pick up membership form of the People Democratic Party in Surulere and Ogo oluwa Local Governments of Ogbomoso area of Oyo state.

While welcome the defectors to the party,  Sunday Makanjuola, a Fmr chairman Surulere Local Government and an federal honourable Aspirant said the method of government by Engr Seyi Makinde is the main reason why many want to be part of the administration as it is the government of the people and who is working in hand with the people both in the city and in the grassroots level of the state.

He added that the new members are top stakeholders who will impart in the development of the state and the party in general.

“They have seen the difference between the administration of the PDP and that of the rival as the current administration in Oyo state under the leadership of Engr Seyi Makinde is focused on how to ensure that Oyo state is under on the Umbrella of the People Democratic Party.”

Also speaking at the event, John Abisoye Oke believed the exercise is necessary as the leadership skill of the incumbent Governor allows for the influx of other party members into the People Democratic Party.

He however urged the party to settle its difference to forge a stronger frontier in sustaining the start and making the party bigger to stand against the opposition merging force in the state

“ I am very to see our brothers coming in to join this great political party and it is sure that the next election will be in the favor of our party as we already have 80% to 90% chance of winning.”
