NNPP vows to tackle vote buying in general election

The New Nigeria People Party, (NNPP) Osun State chapter, has vowed to takle any political parties from vote buying during the general election.

Speaking at the NNPP Secretariat in Osogbo, Osun State capital, the state chairman, Dr. Oluwatosin Odeyemi said that the party will ensure people’s votes count in the forthcoming elections.

The party is going to deliver huge number of votes for the Presidential candidate of the party, Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso as they resolved internal crisis in the state.

Odeyemi stressed that the members of the party across 30 Local Government and Local Council Development Area, (LCDA) will work together as one family, commended the National Working Committee, (NWC) for their invention during the party crisis.

He charged the electorate come out en masse to cast their votes for all candidates of the party in the forthcoming general election.

According to him, “The founder of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), Dr Boniface Aniebonam, the Presidential candidate of our party, Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and National Working Committee (NWC) have intervened to our internal crisis.

“The NWC of New Nigerian Peoples Party met and decided to call all aggrieved members together to harmonise and am back as the authentic chairman of the New Nigeria People’s Party in the state.

“I left Abuja this morning and drove down to Osogbo just to look at the Secretariat that will have, I only called two people to inform them of my coming but I was surprised to meet large number of our party members here.

“And I am saying this to the opposition to know that it’s no more the usual business, it’s no more votes buying we are going to let the votes of the people to count NNPP as come together as one family send them a good signal.” he added
