NNPP Chairman debunks suspension of Kwankwaso, Yusuf
The Chairman of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Kano, Hashimu Sulaiman Dungurawa, has dismissed the purported suspension of the party’s National Leader and Presidential Candidate, Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State.
Dungurawa told newsmen in Kano on Monday that those behind the suspension were expelled from the party long ago for anti-party activities and collusion with the opposition.
He described the suspension as a desperate attempt by the opposition to create chaos in the NNPP, fueled by fear of Kwankwaso’s rising popularity ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Gumburawa condemned the heavy security deployment at the Nasarawa Mimi Palace, which is hosting the deposed 15 Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Bayero.
He described the deployment as unnecessary and posing a great threat to the peace and stability of the state.
The chairman criticized the heavy security deployment around the deposed Emir Aminu Ado Bayero, urging the authorities to prioritize the security needs of the entire state.
Dungurawa assured that the NNPP remains united and strong, poised to produce the next President of Nigeria.
