NIWA: Oyebamiji visits Aba, Warri area offices on working tour

• To inspect Onitsha, Asaba Friday

The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Mr. Bola Oyebamiji on Thursday toured facilities at the Warri Area Office of the Authority in Delta State.

During the tour, the NIWA MD advised members of staff to work harder to boost the revenue profile of the Authority in the quest to further better their welfare.

During the visit, Oyebamiji inspected facilities such as Warri Area Office yard, shoreline, and the newly built concrete jetty, with a promise to upgrade those facilities, in order to enhance efficiency and proficiency within the system.

The NIWA MD had earlier on Wednesday visited Aba to inspect facilities and will today, Friday, visit Asaba and Onitsha as part of his working visit.

Oyebamiji was accompanied by some management staff
