Nigeria’s National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), in partnership with Brevity Anderson, has announced the Digital Nigeria International Conference & Exhibition (DNICE) 2024, scheduled to take place from 22nd to 24th October 2024.

This landmark event will bring together global leaders, industry experts, innovators, academia, and policymakers under the theme “Empowering a Digital Future.”

In a statement by Mrs. Hadiza Umar, the Director of Corporate Affairs and External Relations at NITDA, it was noted that the 2024 conference will provide a crucial platform for dialogue, collaboration, networking, and innovation. This aligns with Nigeria’s ongoing journey towards becoming a leading digital economy.

The event will feature a dynamic mix of keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, product showcases, and exhibitions, all aimed at fostering the growth of Nigeria’s digital ecosystem.

Regarding the theme “Empowering a Digital Future,” the Agency highlighted the importance of leveraging digital technologies to drive economic growth, enhance governance, and improve the quality of life for all Nigerians in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the current administration.

As part of the conference, NITDA will launch several initiatives aimed at accelerating digital literacy, fostering innovation, and supporting startups and SMEs. Additionally, awards will be presented to deserving Nigerian startups that emerged as winners of the Digital Nigeria Hackathon (DNH) 2024.

NITDA invites stakeholders from across the globe to join in shaping the future of Nigeria’s digital landscape. “Together, we can empower a digital future that drives innovation, inclusivity, and sustainable economic development.”
