In a stern address during a training session in Abuja, Engr Abisoye Coker-Odusote, the Director-General of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), has emphasised the pivotal role of the agency’s front end (enrollment) partners (FEPs) as ambassadors for the commission.

Engr. Abisoye while addressing the first batch of newly revalidated Front End Partners, urged them to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

The Director-General expressed the commission’s commitment to ensuring that the enrollment process is conducted with utmost transparency and efficiency. She stressed that the Front End Partners play a crucial role in the success of NIMC’s mission, and their conduct directly impacts the credibility of the entire process.

Warning against any engagement in unwholesome practices, Coker-Odusote made it clear that NIMC would not hesitate to take decisive actions against any Front End Partner found violating ethical standards. This firm stance underscores the commitment of the commission to maintaining the integrity of the national identity enrollment process.

The training session for the first batch of newly revalidated Front End Partners aimed not only at enhancing their skills but also at reinforcing the importance of their role in the overall success of NIMC’s initiatives.

A press statement released by the commission also assured participants that the revalidation process was a management decision designed to sanitise the enrollment process. Additionally, the revalidation process includes auditing the invoices inherited by the current administration to address outstanding debts owed to the Front End Partners. This strategic move aligns with NIMC’s commitment to fostering a transparent and accountable partnership with its Front End Partners.

The revalidation process is seen as a proactive step taken by the NIMC leadership to strengthen its collaboration with Front End Partners, ensuring that they operate within the highest ethical standards. This commitment to integrity not only safeguards the interests of the commission but also reinforces public trust in the National Identity Management process.

As NIMC continues its mission to provide secure and reliable identity management services, the call for integrity among Front End Partners reflects the agency’s dedication to upholding the highest standards in its operations. The ongoing efforts to revalidate and reinforce ethical practices demonstrates NIMC’s commitment to building a robust and trustworthy national identity management system.
