Nigerians to be governed fairly, equally — FG

President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government has guaranteed to govern the nation with fairness and equity.
The President made this vow at the official commissioning and handover of an erosion control project at Sabin Gida Village in Langtang South Local Government Area of Plateau State on Monday.
The President as ably represented by the Women Affairs Minister, Dame Pauline Tallen, emphasized that Government is committed to continue with the implementation of all genuine policies, agreements and contracts which are directed at laying a solid foundation in the quest for a viral and prosperous nation.
The project which was awarded in 2019 to address the devastating effects of erosion in the area, create road network and to enhance opportunities for economic growth for the people will in no time become a reality.
Dame Tallen who represented Mr President enjoined the community to own the project by maintaining and sustaining it.
In their separate remarks, the Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong and the Permanent Secretary in Ecological Fund Office, Dr. Hadiza Lawal who was also represented by the sponsor of the project and a former Minister of Youths and Sports Development, Solomon Dalung, the Royal Father of the Area, Chief Bamaiyi Gosele among other key stakeholders extolled President Muhammadu Buhari for his determination in completing the huge project.
The project which the benefiting community described as the first of its kind in the Local Government since the return of democracy in 1999.
Highlights of the commissioning, was a tour guide with the Women Affairs Minister through the various sites of the project.
