The Nigerian Society of Engineers has honoured Mrs Ese Akarah, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Feborze Global Ventures Limited with the conferment of prestigious Award of Excellence in engineering construction.
The award which was presented by the Asaba branch of the Society, was as a result of the significant impact she had made in the field of engineering over the years, especially in the area of bridge construction which her establishment has carried out in Delta state.
Speaking with Nigerian NewsDirect shortly after the award, Mrs Ese remarked that she had always had passion for construction work.
She expressed happiness over the award, adding that the award would spur her to work harder to attain greater height.
“The award will take us to a higher level of work because it means we have to work harder to achieve our aims.”
She used the occasion to advise those going into construction to always note that the beginning would always be challenging, adding that with perseverance they would definitely get through.
“The beginning is always very rough but you don’t have to give up. You have to continue pushing. You have to learn more and as long as you are ready to learn you will achieve your goal.”
