Nigerian NewsDirect bags NMCA award as ‘Fastest Rising Newspaper’ of the year

Nigerian News Direct daily newspaper has emerged winner of the National Media Community Award as ‘Fastest Rising Newspaper of the year.’

The publication won  the award at the 2022 edition of the National Media Community Award (NMCA) held in Ogba, Lagos State for delivering the accurate news from the source .

The National Media Community annual awards is a platform which promotes media excellence and ensures that media professionals not only go around celebrating others but also celebrate themselves.

The Founder of the award, Joshua Uloko told journalists that the award aims to celebrate excellence in the media industry.

He said  that is a way of appreciating the restless and unrelenting efforts of Nigeria pen pushers.

The NMCA is organised by Media Community Network in conjunction with Daily Pride Communications, publisher of City Pride Achievers’ Magazine and Crime Bursters International Magazine.

Expressing delight at the Award, the Publisher/ Editor-in-Chief,Nigerian Newsdirect, Prince (Dr) Samuel Ibiyemi represented by the Deputy  Business Editor/Head Digital Media, Mathew Ibiyemi described the award as a challenge for the publication to do more.

The Award covered the media and other various sectors of human endeavours, which also include the security industry. It was witnessed by Media Icons, Publishers and Editors as well as seasoned and career journalists and Security organizations.

Also celebrated at the awards ceremony were Channels TV Politics Today host, Seun Okinbaloye; doyen media professionals like Publisher of City People magazine, Dr. Seye Kehinde; and Publisher/Chairman of THISDAY Newspaper/ Arise TV, Prince Nduka Obaigbena, among others.
