Nigeria receives additional aircrafts —Sirika

Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, has disclosed that three additional aircrafts have been provided to train pilots in Nigeria and other African countries in the school of aviation, Zaria.

He also revealed that a calibration plane that could be used to save $1million yearly was purchased as the sum of $500,000 was used initially in hiring aircraft calibration from South Africa and Niger Republic.

However, in a tweet with the Minister, he was commended for remodeling the aircraft and aviation sector as his efforts earned Zaria and the state of Kaduna of an ICAO Regional Training Centre of Excellence.

Air Operator cries out over fraudulent activities.

Operators of the Air Peace airways has called for the awareness of the general public to fraudulent activities that has been occurring by fraudsters on a certain website meant to loot funds from passengers of the air peace airways.

However, the airline operator said that the company is not in any way associated with the people carrying out this illicit activity, so members are to disregard any message coming from an outside website.

Meanwhile, he noted that only information on the Air Peace website is authentic and interested members of the public should visit the website or ensure to call the call centre agents for proper clarification and for more information regarding the airline.
