Nigeria @61: Ekiti APC chieftain sues for cooperation among Nigerians

By Mike Adebayo, Ado-Ekiti

As Nigeria marks its 61st Independence anniversary, a  chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Minister of State for Works,  Prince Dayo Adeyeye has called for a strong commitment by all Nigerians to rid the land of all divisive actions.

This was the central theme of his congratulatory message to Nigerians on the occasion of the nation’s 61st independence anniversary and made available to Nigerian NewsDirect in Ado-Ekiti.

Adeyeye noted that, no house that stands against itself can ever hope to overcome its problems, stating that only an atmosphere of peace and cooperation can bring about any meaningful progress.

The former Minister opined that although it may seem that the nation’s challenges are too extreme to overcome, Nigeria will make head way if there was sufficient will and commitment across the various sections of the country.

Adeyeye said he believes Nigeria will be great again but only when all citizens start seeing themselves as part of the solution and working diligently with each other, no matter what ethnic stock they come from.
