As Nigeria marks the 60th independence anniversary, the Director-General of Bureau of Social Services, Mr Richard Tinubu has congratulated the nation’s founding fathers for the sacrifice made in attaining freedom and independence for the nation.
Mr Tinubu in a statement issued to felicitate Nigerians for successfully working to make Nigeria habitable equally applauded the Nigerian workers in both formal and informal sectors for toiling day and night to build the nation’s economy.
The DG of BOSS in a statement signed by the information officer of the Bureau, Abdulraheem Adekilekun said workers have demonstrated the greater spirit of loyalty and dedication which resulted in the various achievements of leaders in the three tiers of government in Nigeria.
He also saluted the patriotism of all Nigerians irrespective of creed, tribe or religion in promoting the unity of Nigeria.
While congratulating residents of the state of Osun on the independence anniversary of the nation, he charged them to continue to support the state government in its efforts to make life more meaningful for the citizenry.
Mr Tinubu who stressed that Nigeria’s diversity should be our strength and noted that its only by working together that we can build a strong, virile and resilient Nation. He urged Nigerians to continue to support the APC Federal Government to win the war against insurgency, kidnapping, banditry and all forms of criminality in all the nooks and crannies of Nigeria.
