Niger guber candidate seeks support for Tinubu

Mr Umar Bago, gubernatorial candidate,  All Progress Congress (APC) in Niger has appealed to the people of the state to vote for Sen. Bola Tinubu, the party’s candidate in Saturday’s presidential election.

He made the appeal during a campaign rally in Chanchaga Local Government Area of the state on Wednesday.

Bago described Tinubu as “a man with wealth of experience and track records that would bring the country out of its present situation.

“I want to appeal to the people of Chanchaga Local Government to come out en masse and vote for the candidates of APC from top to bottom both at state and national levels,” Bago said.

He, however, announced a donation of an undisclosed amount of money to the less-privileged persons and other organisations within the council area.

In his remarks, Sen. Sani Musa, candidate for Niger East Senatorial District also called on the people to support the candidates of APC during the upcoming general elections.

He donated N100 million for registration of Joint Administration and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for the students in his constituency and for payment of other secondary school examinations.

Also, Chairman of APC in Niger, Alhaji Haliru Jikantoro, appealed to the people to vote for the party at all levels.
