NGX-ASI declines, as market records 25 gainers
The Nigerian Exchange limited All-Share Index (NGX-ASI) declined by 0.09 percent to close at 101,995.21 basis points.
This is compared to the previous day’s gain of 0.84 percent to close at 102,088.07 basis points.
The Nigerian stock market ended negatively, losing 92.86 points with a flat market breadth.
The total volume traded advanced by 1.14 percent to close at N294.32m, valued at N6.72bn and traded in 9,957 deals. FBNH was the most traded stock by volume and value, with N73.84m and N2.42bn units traded.
The Gote Index declined by 0.35 percent to close at 367.48, while the Toni index declined by 0.22 percent to close at 571.10 basis points.
At the close of trading, the market recorded 25 gainers, 25 losers, and 66 unchanged. NASCON topped the gainer’s list, while NESTLE topped the list of losers
