New Super Eagles coach, Chelle to earn N84,984,900 monthly salary

The Newly appointed Super Eagles Coach, Eric Chelle will receive Fifty five thousand dollars ($55,000 equivalent of N84,984,900.00) as monthly salary, according to BSN sports.

Chelle was announced as Nigeria coach on Tuesday after NFF Executive Committee endorsed the recommendation of its Technical and Development Sub-Committee for his appointment.

The former Malian coach will arrive in Nigeria on Saturday with two assistants and will be unveiled next Monday in Abuja.

The new Super Eagles Coach will get to work immediately as he is expected to take charge of the Super Eagles B team who will compete for honours at the 2025 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) in Morocco.

The 8th CHAN commence from 1st February, 2025.

Meanwhile, the newly-appointed Super Eagles head coach will come to Nigeria with three of his trusted assistants.

Chelle is expected in Abuja on Sunday to finalise details of his contract, SCORENigeria is reporting.

The 47-year-old was named new Super Eagles head coach by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Tuesday night.

The Malian was previously in charge of the Algerian club, MC Oran.

His trusted assistants worked with him during his reign in charge of the Malian national team, the Eagles.

The trio were also with Chelle during his time with MC Oran.

He is also expected to work with local assistants picked by the NFF.
