New NYSC state Coordinator assumes duty in Kwara

The management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme, has posted a new State Coordinator, to head its affairs in Kwara State.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Kwara state Public Relations officer of the Corps Dipo Morakinyo and made available to journalists in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
The statement read in part, “He is Mr Chris Oluwole Jimba. He is taking over from Mrs Francisca Olaleye, who recently completed her tenure as the State Coordinator.
“Until his recent appointment, Mr Jimba was an outstanding management staff at the Human Resources Management (HRM) Department of the scheme, at its National Directorate Headquarters, Abuja. He was also a one time State Coordinator of NYSC in Imo State. His civil service glowing career, which spans over two decades, has taken him to several states of the federation, which include Oyo, Benue and the North Central Area Office, Minna, Niger State.
“A Master’s Degree holder from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Mr Chris Jimba also belong to several professional bodies. An astute administrator, highly resourceful, full of experience and highly proficient in Youth management. He is an indigene of Ekiti State, a christian and happily married with children.
“During a short handover ceremony, that takes place today at the State Secretariat, Mr Chris Jimba promised to build on the existing cordial relationship between the NYSC scheme and the the State government. He also pledged to sustain the warm relationship between the NYSC and all its critical stakeholders in Kwara State. Mr Chris Oluwole Jimba takes over as the 23rd State Coordinator to pilot the affairs of the state secretariat, since its inception in 1973.”
