NDE to train 81 youth on various skills of trade in Jigawa

The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has announced plans to train 81 youth across the 27 local Government areas in Jigawa state .

The State Coordinator, Alh Hadi Mamman Daura revealed that each of the participants in the training would receive a stipend of N5,000 naira per month to augment their transport fare to the place of training.

According to him, the participants are expected to receive training on GSM repairs, Electrical works, printing work, fashion design, beads making  and computer operation etc.

He charged the participants to pay attention during the training to get the best results.

It would be recalled that the NDE was created in 1986 having one of its mandates to combat mass employment in the country.

The State Co-ordinator harped on the importance of the National Directorate of Employment as the only way to tackle the menace of unemployment.

He also called on the Jigawa state Government to intensify efforts on providing job opportunities among the teaming unemployed youth and women in the state noting that it will also contribute to promoting peace and harmony within the state.
