The Executive Secretary, Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), Engr. Simbi Kesiye Wabote has bagged the Fellowship of the Petroleum Training Institute (FPTI).
Engr Wabote was named a fellow of the institute when he received a team from the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) at the Nigerian Content Tower in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State led by the Principal, Dr. Henry A. Adimula.
The PTI team led by the Principal, Dr. Henry A. Adimula stated their purpose of the visit which amongst others was to update the Board on happenings of the Institute. With a shared mandate of capacity development, PTI hopes for more support for industrial placement of staff and students of the institute, and funding, as well as to seek for collaboration between NCDMB and the Institute.
Engr. Simbi in his response welcomed the PTI Team and implored the institute to consider more Public Private Partnerships, advertisements, marketing and other promotions so as to stand out and enlighten others on PTI’s activities. He assured the PTI team of sustained collaboration between the Board and the Institute.
He added that a short, medium and long term partnership will also be looked into. Engr Simbi thanked them for the visit.
The Executive Secretary, Engr. Simbi Kesiye Wabote (FNSE, FIPS, FPTI) was accompanied by Mr Abayomi Bamidele, Director PCAD, Barr. Esueme Dan Kikile, Manager Corporate Communications, Ene Ette, Manager, PPD, Timbiri Augustine Manager, HCD and other staff of the Board.
