At the Authority’s corporate headquarters in Abuja, the award ceremony highlighted the NCAA’s commitment to upholding safety and promoting efficiency across the industry.

This certification reflects Acting Director General Capt. Chris Najomo’s focus on supporting “aviation safety and standards” without sacrificing operational ease.

The NCAA’s accreditation of ARFF training is groundbreaking, as it’s the first of its kind in Nigeria.

This milestone promises a safer and more standardised approach to ARFF training across the aviation industry.

Consequently, this achievement brings substantial benefits, enhancing NCAA’s role and bolstering the Nigerian aviation sector’s credibility.

Additionally, the focus on aviation safety standards training strengthens NCAT’s global standing, attracting increased enrolment and interest from prospective students.

Receiving the certificate, Acting Rector of NCAT, Mr. Joseph Imalighwe, expressed gratitude for the Ag. DGCA’s leadership, citing his dedication to safety and regulatory oversight.

Imalighwe assured that NCAT would maintain the high standards set by the accreditation, thereby enhancing Nigeria’s reputation in aviation training.
