NATFORCE plans big against insecurity in Nigeria By Abba – Eku Onyeka

In order to tackle insecurity in the country, the Director-General (DG), National Taskforce on the Prohibition of Illegal Importation/Smuggling of Arms, Ammunition, Light Weapons, Chemical Weapons, and Pipeline Vandalism. (NATFORCE) Dr. Baba Mohammed has welcomed a delegation from Israel to train the management staff and operatives of NATFORCE nationwide.

In a press release from office of the DG, the delegation from Israel finally arrived at NATFORCE Head office on Thursday. According to the release, NATFORCE in addition to local training arrangements has also initiated and concluded arrangements for comprehensive training of its workforce by ETOS Company, an international security trainer organization. ETOS was said to has trained several security establishments including the military within and outside African shores.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ETOS, Mr. Eyal Tal in his brief remarks during the visit promised to engage high-tech security equipment along with artificial intelligence to maximally accomplish the goal of the training.

In his address during the epoch-making event, the NATFORCE DG explained that ETOS Company could offer the management team and operatives of his organization the professional training they deserve. To fastrack the training for the optimal benefit of all, the release went on, Baba had to set up a committee that comprises experienced retired and serving military personnel to ferociously deliberate on the date of training commencement, period of duration, venue and logistics needed.

NATFORCE boss, according to the release is optimistic that the training will bring a huge success story to the Federal Government in her bit to combating banditry, illegal arms proliferation, and insurgency in Nigeria.
