NASD OTC Securities Exchange Index, the NSI return decreased by 0.01per cent to close the week at 746.12 points against 746.19 on last Friday.

In addition, week 24 saw NASD Investors lose N0.05 Billion in value. NASD OTC market capitalization closed at N530.35 Billion compared to N530.4billion on Friday, resulting from a negative movement in prices.

NASD OTC Securities Exchange Market, however, closed on a positive note  in its Year-To-Date (YTD) performance as the market recorded an increase in performance.

NASD Security Index Year to date returns increased by 0.60per cent. Total volume traded YTD stands at  395,380,299 units in 2352 deals and total Value traded is N8,617,274,675.

There was a 20.13per cent decrease in the total value traded during the week, as week 24 saw NASD Investors trade a total of N240,436,336 in value compared to N301,020,636 in the previous week. Total trade activity for the year is valued at N8,617,274,675.

Total volume traded during the week was 11,836,028 units compared to 14,988,016 units in the previous week leading to a 21.03per cent decrease in trade volume compared to week 23. Total volume traded for the year is 395,380,299 units.

The week closed with Nigerian Exchange Group PLC ranking top among the five most traded securities by volume and UBN Property PLC as the fifth most traded stock by volume traded in the week.

The week closed with Nigerian Exchange Group PLC ranking top among the five most traded securities by value and VFD GROUP PLC 2021 RIGHTS stood as the fifth most traded Security by value for the week.

The NASD OTC Exchange recorded no Advancers as the Bears held their ground firmly through the week 24.

Nigerian Exchange Group PLC, which currently holds a Market Capitalization of N36.63 Billion closed the week at N19.28 representing a 3.06 per cent decrease from the previous close of N19.89.

Central Securities and Clearing System PLC, which currently holds a Market Capitalization of N89.95 Billion closed the week at N17.99 representing a 0.05 per cent decrease from the previous close of N18.00.
