NASD OTC Securities Exchange closed the week with a positive return on NSI. The NSI return rose by 1.15per cent to close the week at 741.45 points against 733.00 points on Thursday, December 31 2020.
In addition, Week 1 saw NASD Investors gain N6.06 Billion in value. NASD OTC Market capitalization closed at N532.00 billion compared to N525.94 billion on Thursday, December 31 2020, resulting from a positive movement of prices.
NASD OTC Securities Exchange Market closed on a negative note YTD as the market recorded a decrease in performance.
NASD Security Index Year to date return fell by 0.03%. Total volume traded Year-to-Date stands at 111,434 units in 13 deals and total value traded is N15.2 million.
There was a 203.10per cent increase in the total value traded during the week as week 1 saw NASD Investors trade a total of N15.2 million in value compared to N5.02 million in the previous week. Total trade activity for the year is valued at N15.2 million Total volume traded during the week was 111,434.00 units compared to 1,123,675.00 units in the previous week leading to a 90.08per cent decrease in trade volume compared to week 52. Total volume traded for the year is 111,434.00 units.
The week closed with Central Securities Clearing System Plc ranking top among the four most traded securities by volume and Nipco Plc as the fourth most traded stock by volume traded in the week.
Two of NASD OTC Stocks closed the week with a significant increase in value.
Central Securities Clearing System Plc, which currently holds a Market Capitalization of N79.50 Billion closes the week at N15.9 representing a 5.65 percent increase from the previous close of N15.05.
Niger Delta Exploration and Production Plc, which currently holds a Market Capitalization of N63.49 Billion closes the week at N350.00 representing a 2.94 percent increase from the previous close of N340.00.
