Nasarawa United adopt Ahmadu Bello Stadium as new home ground

Nasarawa United have opted for the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna, as their temporary home ground.

The Solid Miners decided to play their home games at the New Jos Stadium after their home ground, Lafia Township Stadium, was not approved for the 2022/23 Nigeria Premier Football League campaign by the Interim Management Committee (IMC).

The Lafia club have already lost their two home games and that may have prompted the club’s management to move to another venue.

Nasarawa United will play their first home game on the new home ground on matchday five against former champions, Plateau United.

Bala Nikyu’s side currently occupy last position on the table with zero point.

Tornadoes will face Gombe United at the Pantami Stadium on Sunday in a matchday four encounter.
