NARTO names Badaru as grand patron

The Nigerian Transport Owners Association (NARTO) Jigawa state branch has named Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru as the grand patron of the association.

This is as the association swore in new executives for the association.

Barrister Hafizu who is the Legal Adviser of the Association swore in the newly exco shortly after the conduct of the election at the Manpower Conference hall.

The newly Exco of the Association NARTO has conferred the  Former Governor of Jigawa State, Alh Badaru Abubakar, as their grand patron.

The confirmation was made by the executive of the Association shortly after the swearing in of new excos.

According to the chairman of the election committee, Alh Atiku Zailani, “18 key position were sworn in as new executives of the Association to run the affairs of the Association in the state, in which Alh Belli Usman Dunari emerged as chairman Re-elected, while  Alh Da’adu Barwa to saved as secretary of the Association.”

Other members of the exco  include Alh Muhd Lele as Deputy Chairman of the Association and Alh sani to serve as vice chairman one, while  Alh Muhd Barde as vice chairman two, and Alh Muhd Salanga to serve as vice chairman three.

In his ward, the National Chairman of the Association who is also the Election chairman, Alh Atiku Zailani tasked the new exco to be fair and just while discharging their official responsibilities

Also in his inaugural speech the newly re-elected chairman of the Association, Alh Bello Usman Dunari, thanked the National body of the Association for the support and cooperation given to the Jigawa Branch.

Dunari assured his loyalty to Jigawa state government and NARTO, and at the same time to work with the Jigawa state government for the development of the state and also for the progress of the Association.

Assuring that the present administration under Governor Umar Namadi is willing to support NARTO, at all levels, he therefore sought the cooperation of his members across the 27 councils to work together with members of Jigawa state executive in their localities to move the state forward.
