Dr Ibiyemi in a short speech at the programme said the donation was made to reduce suffering of families affected by Naira scarcity  in Ado/Odo Ota  Local Government of Ogun State due to Naira scarcity. According to him, the distribution of the food items through APC Leaders is to ensure equity distribution  to genuine residents in need at the grassroot.

“Food is necessary as energy for the body systems. If you are hungry, you cannot have energy to walk from your house to polling boot,” he said.

On grassroot road construction, Ibiyemi thanked Gov Abiodun for release of  Graders for grading of Ijoko and Sango-communities in Ado Odo/ Ota Local Govt. “Sango-Ota and Ijoko are now accessible for investors and tourists with the support of Gov Abiodun,” he said.

Chairman Ijoko Ward, Hon. Yakubu Olanrewaju commended Dr Ibiyemi for supporting the needy in Sango- and Ijoko. He expressed  joy for the financial support during the campaign period and commitment to grassroot development.

“We are happy about his annual programme of grading roads in Sango- and Ijoko communities as  annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.

Ijoko Ward Counsellor Yinka Adegbite expressed the roles of Dr Ibiyemi in mobilising support for the needy through Gov Abiodun and APC.

“I am happy to receive the bags of SEMOVITA for communities in my area and we will ensure equity distribution across streets in Ijoko.”
