The Nigeria Association of Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture ( NACCIMA) has celebrated its 60 years of remarkable contribution to the growth of the economy by honoring Dr. Barkindo Muhammadu Sanusi, the Secretary General of OPEC, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director- General, WTO and Mrs Amina Mohammed, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations.
The Ceremony which had in attendance, the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo as the Chair, and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustapha as Special Guest of Honour was postponed for CoronaVirus.
Celebrating its 60 years of lofty existence, NACCIMA acknowledged the Secretary-General of OPEC, Dr Barkindo Mohammad Sanusi Barkindo by honoring with the “Award for Exemplary Public and International Service Careers.”
While marking its 60th anniversary, the National President of NACCIMA, Hajiya Saratu Iya Aliyu was in attendance to Present the Award to Dr. Sanusi in Abuja today
Hajiya Saratu described Dr Barkindo as a diplomat credited with “restoring market stability on a global scale” in a citation
This anniversary was themed, “ NACCIMA @60 & Nigeria @60 Excellence Awards” was postponed owing to the COVID-19 pandemic that ravaged the world last year.
