Ogun State House of Assembly aspirant for Abeokuta South constituency under African Democratic Congress, ADC, Engr. Oguntade Adewale Saheed has disclosed that his aspiration to serve his people in 2019 was born out of his desire to lend helping hand to advancing the socioeconomic growth of his constituency.

Engr. Oguntade Adewale Saheed, a graduate of Electrical Electronics Engineering from Olabisi Onabanjo University, OOU, Ago Iwoye and Chief Engineer, Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, OOPL, Abeokuta stated this while speaking in an interview with journalists.

The aspirant, a foremost specialist in project management who saw to the completion and successful commissioning of OOPL under two years said his brand of politics is one that is devoted to using the platform to embark on programmes and policies that would make life more bearable and wipe away tears from faces of his people.

He added that ”there is no doubt that our people are in dire need of someone who know where the shoe pinches them. Someone who will get their votes and never abandon them after the elections. Someone who will never joke with their welfare as well as the overall development of our constituency. By the special grace of God, I have the capacity and the exposure to surpass their expectations. In fact, this ambition is my own little way of giving back to the community that has been kind to me and made me who I am today”.

Oguntade said that he had been PDP stalwart for over 15 years until recently when he dumped the party due to its protracted internal wrangling and loss of public goodwill forcing him to embrace coalition party of African Democratic Congress, ADC.

He described ADC as a party that is devoted to pursuing greatness of the country and restoring its lost glory saying that the ideology of the party which revolves around good governance is what is needed to heal the nation of its many woes.

Oguntade explained further that since ADC metamorphosed from a movement to a party, it has continued to receive many people with integrity and highly exposed professionals into its fold maintaining that vote for the party during next year elections would forever change the face of governance in the state.
