MTN Nigeria celebrates customer service week with gifts, others

MTN Nigeria kicked off a series of activities to mark Customer Service Week celebration, a global event dedicated to recognizing the role of customer service in driving business growth while celebrating those who support and engage with customers daily.

Customers were treated to a special goodwill message from the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Karl Toriola via its CallerTunez Service.

For customers who walked into the company’s Y’ello City Service Centre, they were treated to a surprise raffle draw.

To qualify for the raffle draw, they were encouraged to write down their phone numbers, allowing the MTN team led by its Chief Customer Relations and Experience Officer, Ugonwa Nwoye, and Chief Human Resources Officer, Esther Akinnukawe take turns in spinning the wheel, drawing numbers at random.

Each lucky number pulled from the pool corresponded to a prize, and the atmosphere buzzed with excitement as the lucky winners walked away with tokens of appreciation from MTN.

The prizes ranged from new smartphones to gift packs, power banks, umbrellas, t-shirts, bags, mini hand fans, USB chargers, and stationery among many other mouthwatering gifts.

The vibrant energy which filled the air at Y’ello City was evident of the company’s continued commitment to going over and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.

Expressing her gratitude, Ugonwa Nwoye said “To us, our customers are at the helm of our affairs, they are the true bosses. We are deeply grateful for your loyalty and will continue to serve and celebrate you. We remain committed to giving you a unique Y’ello experience.”

Adding to the sentiment, Esther Akinnukawe stated, “We’re always thinking about how we can delight you better.

This Customer Service Week, we want to thank you and reassure you that every interaction with us is aimed at giving you a wonderful experience. Your happiness is our priority.”

As the week unfolds, customers can look forward to even more activities, including the My MTN App Trivia and a photo competition, designed to engage and reward customers throughout the celebration.

Every year, MTN hosts its Customer Service Week celebrations to renew its promise to deliver excellent service and experiences to customers across the nation.
