Mohammed Fawehimi dies at 52

Mohammed, son of the late activist and lawyer, Chief Gani Fawehinmi is dead. Mohammed reportedly died on Wednesday at the age of 52 years.

The cause of his death was not known as at press time, but it was gathered that he was not ill.

“He complained of difficulty in breathing this morning and was taken to the hospital and that was all,” a source said. It would be recalled that Mohammed had been on wheelchair since he was involved in an accident in 2003.

Mohammed obtained a law degree from the University of Buckingham, England and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1998.
