Mohammed craves Bauchi Assembly’s synergy for development

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has demanded more synergy from the State House of Assembly lawmakers which he said would foster development in the state.

Mohammed made the request when the Speaker, Hon. Abubakar Suleiman led a delegation to congratulate him on victory at the Supreme Court on January 20. He

applauded the lawmakers for deepen parliamentarian practice in the discharge of their constitutional rights.

Governor Bala Mohammed observed that, despite their political differences, members of the assembly have supported his administration through mutual relationship.

He attributed the successes recorded by his administration in the last few months of inception to the support and cooperation of the lawmakers while calling for its sustenance.

The governor while expressing gratitude to the members of the assembly for reaffirming their support to his administration, said their support would enable citizens of the state to reap dividends of democracy.

Governor Bala Mohammed said to ensure effective service delivery in line with international best practices, the government would look inward at sourcing other incomes as well as improving the State’s Internally Generated Revenue.

The Speaker, Abubakar Suleiman said the visit was to congratulate the governor over his victory at the supreme court and to reaffirm their support to his administration.

The governor emphasised the need for synergy and mutual understanding among the two arms of the government to ensure the speedy transformation of the state.
