Modakeke APC ready to host Oyetola’s re-election campaign train today
The re-election bid of the Osun State Governor Gboyega Oyetola in the July 16, 2022 governorship election has received an additional boost with the superlative arrangements to host his campaign train in Modakeke today.
This statement which was issued by Kola Olabisi, the Media Adviser to the Osun State APC chairman, Prince Gboyega Famodun, in Modakeke yesterday stated that the apex committee and all the subcommittees for the smooth and successful hosting of Governor Oyetola are set to make the event hitch-free.
Olabisi who is one of the APC chieftains in the town stated that it was the inborn proactive attribute of his people to development-related issues which has been propelling their zeal and zest.
The Media Aide to the state APC chairman appealed to the members of the party and supporters to troop out en masse to welcome Governor Oyetola to the community.
Olabisi also enjoined the leaders and members of the party in the community to eschew violence no matter the level of provocation from the opposition parties before, during and after the event.
In Olabisi’s words: “It’s the reelection project of Governor Oyetola which is our main priority that should be our common mission”.
Commenting on the preparedness of the Modakeke APC to host Governor Oyetola for the campaign, the Chairman of Finance and Budget Committee of the governor’s re-election project in the community, Dr. Benjamin Eegunranti, disclosed that the community is ready to receive Mr Governor and his team this morning.
Eegunranti who thanked all the party’s stakeholders for willingly sacrificing their time and other resources for hosting Governor Oyetola-led re-election team hinted further that all things needed to be done for the epoch-making occasion have been put in place.
The Finance/Budget Committee chairman reminded the party members and supporters of the need to be good ambassadors of our community during the governor’s visit.
The subcommittee chairman on security for the event who is the sitting chairman of the Ife-East-Central Local Council Development Area(LCDA), (Baba 70), assured that a solid security arrangement has been made for the governor’s visit.
According to the LCDA chairman, “my current appointment as the council chairman affords me an opportunity not to toy with the security of Mr Governor and his team during the event.
“A solid arrangement in the area of water- security for our members and the constituents have also been effected”.
The Contact/Mobilization subcommittee, Mr Kayode Sowade who also corroborated the readiness of the APC chapter to receive Mr Governor disclosed that the success story could be attributed to ceaseless efforts for the preparation.
Sowade stated emphatically that “our party, the APC, is sure of victory in the July 16, 2022 governorship election based on our input”.
Engr Femi Olatoye who is also a member of the Finance/Budget Committee for the re-election project, was also sighted moving up and down for the success of the event.
The APC chairman in the community, Hon Goke Adebowale, was always available to provide needed information for the speedy realization of the committee’s goal while the Special Adviser to the Governor on Innovation, Science and Technology, Hon Ismaeel Kareem Biggy did not lag behind in complementing the efforts of the committee to make it wholesome.
Alhaji Bisiriyu Kolawole who is a prominent traditional chief in the community and chairman of Local Government Education Committee (LGEA) in the town, was always available to guide the committee with the elderly pieces of advice for the overall success of the event.
Barrister Akin Akinrotimi has also not been found wanting in providing required advice for the committee when necessary for the successful hosting of the event.
