MLS: I’ve been traded – Pizzaro laments as Messi takes his position at Inter Miami

Inter Miami star, Rodolfo Pizzaro has lamented the treatment meted out to him by the MLS club following the arrival of Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets.

Pizzaro has emerged as one of the players to make way for the Argentina captain and his former Barcelona teammate.

Pizzaro is one of the club’s Designated Players at the moment which means that he is allowed to earn more than the MLS’ salary cap.

But Messi and Busquets’ arrival could see the Mexican lose that position to make way for that duo.

Pizzaro is likely to leave the Herons as he is currently in the final year of his contract and is unhappy over the situation.

Pizzaro said according to the Mirror, “I do think it’s hard, I have a contract. I didn’t know I could be traded anyways.

“It’s a bit strange. I think it’s the only league in the world that does this.”
