The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, on Monday, described Bola Tinubu as a no-nonsense president.
Akpabio made the remark while urging the minister-designates and political appointees to be on their toes in discharging their duties.
He spoke during the screening of the first female ministerial nominee, Uju-Ken Ohaneye, on the floor of the Senate.
Akpabio spoke against the backdrop of questions directed at the nominee regarding her humanitarian job and tax payment.
Speaking, Akpabio said: “We have a no-nonsense president, so I believe that all ministers and appointees will be on their toes to give their best.
“Anybody who has had the opportunity to be a governor and a president knows he is looking for strength; people that can help you actualize your vision.
