Middle-aged man on the run for killing a man over unpaid debt

A middle-aged man, one Osabuohien, surname unknown, has escaped for gruesomely murdering John Otasowie over the refusal of his daughter, Mary -Usoh Otasowie, to pay the balance sum of Twenty Thousand Euro being amount she was charged when she was tracked to Europe.

Meanwhile, the police have launched investigations into the case but the said Osabuohien, is on the run to avoid arrest and possible prosecution since the matter had been referred to the Homicide Department of the State CID for further actions, while the corpse of John Otasowie which has been initially deposited in St Joseph hospital morgue, has been buried.

Confirming the incident, the wife of the deceased, Mrs Florence Otasowie, bemoaned the killing of her husband on the 21st of March 2023 after rigorous quarrel which ensued over the unpaid debt, saying the killing of her husband was regrettable and a devastating blow to the family being the bread winner.

She added that the murderer, Osabuohien, had escaped and that before the killing, her late husband had ceaselessly been threatened to be killed if their daughter refuses to pay the said money, just as she had begged the police to unravel the killing of her husband and give them justice in the matter because they reported the matter on the 20th day of May 2020 and 10th day of February 2023 before her husband was killed but that the police could not do anything.
