Members of APC CECPC pay valedictory visit to Buni

Members of the defunct All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) have paid a farewell visit to Gov. Mai Mala Buni, the Chairman of the committee.

The Director-General, Press and Media Affairs to Buni, Mr Mohammed Mamman, said this in a statement on Wednesday in Damaturu.

Mamman said the members commended Buni for his excellent leadership qualities which ensured that all members were carried along.

“They told Buni that he listened and gave all of them a sense of belonging,” he said.

Mamman said that they also congratulated the Governor for a peaceful and successful national convention.

“Some members said that they have learnt so much from Buni’s commitment, determination and steadfastness in achieving set goals without giving attention to deliberate distractions,” he said.

Responding, Buni thanked them for the visit and expressed gratitude to them for their sacrifice to the party.

“Your support, cooperation and commitment to the party immensely contributed to the success of the just concluded convention.

“I want to thank you very much and hope you will serve the party diligently with more commitment when next you are called upon to serve,” he said.

Buni reminded them of the need to support the party in the 2023 general election.

“We should please support the party to succeed in the 2023 general election,” he said.
