Meet the two ladies who dared the impossible in revolutionising Logistics business in Nigeria

It is not news that the Logistics industry is a masculine dominated industry. Whether that be for blue-collar jobs being assigned to men due to the physical requirements or women not being noticed for their prowess within the industry.

However, there are two ladies who took the bull by the horn and dared to do the impossible.

Ms Ujama and Ms Kikelomo are entrepreneurs and the women behind Cargoplug logistics.

Cargoplug logistics (formerly Jand2Gidi) is a leading logistics partner for Nigerian businesses, providing supply chain solutions across the country with colleagues working across more than 100 sites across the world ready to deliver their parcels efficiently.

For a decade, the former brand Jand2Gidi had been a trusted companion in the world of shipping and logistics, quietly helping individuals and businesses navigate the complexities of international trade into, within and out of Africa.

But as the sun set on its 10th year, it decided it was time to embark on a new journey — a journey that would bring smiles to faces, create connections, and simplify the world of logistics for everyone. It was time to celebrate a decade of growth and transformation.

In honor of this milestone, Jand2Gidi has evolved into Cargoplug a name that encapsulates its spirit of connection, accessibility, and global reach.

With this transformation, Cargoplug isn’t just a regular logistics company; it is a friend to all, a facilitator of dreams, and a bridge between worlds facilitating global trade – what Cargoplug cannot deliver does not exist!

The organisation was launched in 2013 to deliver parcels to and from the UK, but today, they have expanded their offerings. They now offer imports, exports, nationwide and local deliveries for individuals, SMEs and corporate organisations.

Through a wealth of experience and knowledge, they provide businesses critical services which include Fulfillment, Moving and Storage for some of Nigeria’s best known companies.
