Maritime Academy holds 2022 graduation ceremony

The Maritime Academy of Nigeria (MAN) in Oron, Akwa Ibom State has commenced its 2022 Graduation Ceremony on Monday, 12th of December with a open ship and internal parade ceremony.

The event is expected to be graced by the Honourable Minister of Transportation, Alhaji Mu’azu Jaji Sambo and top officials of the Federal Ministry of Transportation.

The event will witness a graduation lecture which will hold at the Rt. Honourable Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi Auditorium today, 13th, 2022.

The grand finale of the event will witness the graduation ceremony which will hold on Thursday, 15th of December, also at the Rt. Honourable Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi Auditorium.

Recall that the Maritime Academy of Nigeria witnessed a turnaround in fortune when President Mohammadu Buhari appointed Commodore Duja Effedua as Rector in 2017.

His transformation of the Academy which witnessed deployment of state of the art equipment and facilities also saw Mr. President renew the Rectors mandate by another term of four years in 2021.
